Папа римский в своих буллах, письмах, указаниях и пр., называл князей, царей нашей Родины то Русами, то Рутенами. Для латинян эти имена были взаимозаменяемы.
Рутены проживали по всей Европе: в Московии до Урала и Чёрного моря, во Фландрии, Рутены-Русины Прикарпатья. Но Рутены, оказывается, жили и на юге Франции. Марсельцы, Авиньонцы – это потомки тех самых Рутенов-Русов.
В этот раз речь пойдёт о южных Рутенах, об их истории, как они могли выглядеть и на каком языке могли говорить.
